Prosthechea Radiata

I came across this grassy orchid and fell in love with it immediately. Robust grower, not too fussy, and more than ready to go into spike.

And when it did, it sends out a flower spike from the center, and the stalk bears 7-10 buds.

And when it does bloom, the most beautiful shade of pale green, with an almost upside down looking flower. A shell like upper lip completes this quirky species.

Lightly fragrant, and the flower lasted for 2-3 weeks. This is such a beautiful plant, i can’t wait to start dividing them!
